1. Who can use Iggy

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding contract to use Iggy. By using the app you confirm that you meet this.

2. Your account

• Give accurate details and keep your login secure.
• You’re responsible for activity under your account, including members you invite to your household.
• A household is shared: members can see and change shared data such as the plan, shopping list, pantry, and logs.
• Tell us promptly if you think your account has been compromised.

3. The service

Iggy helps households plan meals, build shopping lists, track a pantry, log what they cook and eat, and see the value of food they use before it turns. We’re always improving the app, so features may change, launch in beta, or be withdrawn. We’ll aim to avoid removing things you rely on without reason.

4. Free window, subscriptions & billing

• Free window. New households get a free trial window (currently 14 days) with no card required. After it ends, a one-time payment unlocks the app for good.
• Plans. Iggy is a one-time £9.99 to own — no subscription. HeyIggy+, which adds unlimited AI features, is an optional £4.99 per month or £49.99 per year. Prices are shown at checkout and may change; we’ll give you reasonable notice of any change before it affects you.
• Payments. Subscriptions are sold and processed by our payment provider, Lemon Squeezy, acting as Merchant of Record. Your purchase is also subject to their terms, and they handle applicable taxes.
• Renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel. You can cancel any time (see our Refunds & cancellation policy).

5. About savings figures

Iggy shows estimates of the food value you rescue or save, based on the items, prices, and actions you record. These figures are for information and motivation only. They are not a guarantee of savings and are not financial advice. Actual results depend on how you shop, cook, and log.

6. Your content

You keep ownership of the content you add — recipes, photos, lists, and logs. You grant us a licence to host, process, and display that content as needed to run the service for you and your household (including the AI processing described in our Privacy Policy). You confirm you have the right to submit what you upload.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use Iggy for anything unlawful or to infringe others’ rights;
• disrupt, reverse-engineer, scrape, or try to break the security of the service;
• resell or misuse the service or its content.

8. Intellectual property

The Iggy name, brand, app, and content we create are ours or our licensors’. These terms don’t give you any right to use them except to use the app as intended.

9. Suspension & termination

You can stop using Iggy and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end access if you breach these terms or misuse the service. If we end your access without cause, you can cancel and stop future billing as set out in the refunds policy.

10. Disclaimers

Iggy is provided “as is”. While we work hard to make it accurate and reliable, we don’t warrant that it will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that estimates (including expiry dates and savings) will always be correct. Always use your own judgement about food safety.

11. Limitation of liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability that can’t be limited by law (such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud). Subject to that, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and disputes are subject to the courts of England and Wales. If you’re a consumer, you may also have rights to bring proceedings where you live.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We’ll update the date above and, for material changes, notify you in the app or by email. Continuing to use Iggy after changes take effect means you accept them.
